The
Good
I would like to
talk a bit about the Warrior Forum today; I have had
several memberships with this particular forum. Two of
those were full paid memberships. This is my take on
the Warrior Forum, if you are new to internet
marketing or are not making any money online then this
forum can be a great resource of information. As there
is a lot of very good free information you can acquire
there. For someone just starting out into the world of
internet marketing this can be a goldmine of
information that can be very helpful. As well as all
the information you can find there, you also have the
opportunity of forming relationships with some of the
top marketers in the world, as well, being able to ask
any questions you might have with regards to
marketing.
The bad
The Warrior
Forum has the potential to be the greatest marketing
forum ever, but unfortunately there are a lot of
negative aspects with this forum. Most of the problems
stem from the way the forum is moderated. Now everyone
realizes that all forums have some restrictions on
free speech, this is a given. In the Warrior Forum
this policy is to such an extreme that you have to be
very careful of anything you say on there. This
situation is so bad that most people that get banned
for life have no idea as to why. If you say the wrong
thing and get banned it will in all certainty be for
life. And if you try and email them to find out what
you did wrong, you will never get a response from
them. My guess is that if you did manage to get a
response from them, they wouldn’t know the reason why
you were banned ether “LOL”.
The ugly
One thing I did
notice with the Warrior forum is that it is a very
clickish environment as there are groups of people on
this forum that seem to go around looking at various
post and just attacking and being very belligerent to
some newbie marketers. The funny part of this bullying
is there doesn’t seem to be anything done by the
administration or the moderators to stop this. I know
that everyone on the forum can report an abuse or an
infraction of the rules, but these certain individuals
seem to be able to say whatever they like and get away
with some really childish behavior.
Paid membership in the Warrior Forum
As I have said
in previous paragraphs, yes I did have paid membership
into the private members area. I personally did not
find much more as far as value goes in the private
members area. Any of the software or e-books that I
found in there, I could find equivalent or better
software and information at JV giveaway events that
can be found all over the internet, and get them for
free, no $37 membership cost.
The private members area of the Warriors forum is from
my observation just a place for a select few to do
some backend marketing from the products that they
giveaway.
Warrior Special Offer (WSO)
This
is another part of the Warrior forum with the rare
exceptions, you don’t get very much value ether as a
person posting a WSO or the person buying a WSO. If
you buy a WSO most times the content is stuff you
could get anywhere for free on the internet. I am not
saying that all WSO’s are garbage, just 99 percent of
them. The worst of it is that most people that post a
WSO on the forum have friends and other warriors give
a positive review of their products to help convince
unsuspecting prospects into buying this crap.
Selling a WSO
On the other end
of the WSO story, if you are trying to sell a product
in the WSO section of the Warriors forum you have to
be a paid member of the forum to make a WSO post on
the forum. This cost of private membership is around
$37, plus you have to pay $40
to make the actual WSO post and another $40 each time
you bump it. If you are not doing any other kind of
promotion of your WSO, such as a mailing list or
advertising of some type, you will likely not make
back what it cost you to post the WSO in the first
place.
How to get back in after you get the boot
If you are one
of the many that have a problem with free speech and
get the boot from the Warriors forum. Here is what you
need to do in order to get back in to the forum. Find
the settings for cookies in your browser and delete
any cookies that have anything to do with the Warrior
Forum. Go get yourself another new email account from
your favorite email provider, like gmail.com. Then
once you have done all that go back to the infamous
Warrior Forum and signup up under your new email
address. They haven’t gone through the process of
watching for the same IP address so you won’t need a
proxy.
My closing feelings on the Warrior Forum
In my time with
the Warrior Forum I feel that I leave it with more
then I came in with, I mean this in regards to
knowledge and finances. As for the forum it self It is
truly sad that it is run in such an incompetent manner
with such arrogance and disregard for its members. I
truly believe that the Warrior Forum could be the
greatest and the best marketing forum on the planet,
bar none if not for their short comings.
