List Building Secret Part One!

History

This method was something I discovered by accident. I was originally looking for a way to generate back-links with good page ranking websites. But what I found was a whole lot more. What this article will show you is how to get a huge amount of traffic every day, as well as massive back links to your website. As you know this is imperative for off-site optimization  to get lots of back links, the more the better.

Some list building basics

What I am about to reveal to you has got to be one of the most powerful ways of list building  that I have ever seen. With this system if you were to work at it a little bit, you could build your subscriber list by a thousand of subscribers in a week or more. It really depends on you, but with a few hours of work a day you could see amazing results. There are a few things that I am going to take for granted, one of those things is you know what a freebie site or forum is, and how they work. If by chance you are not familiar with these types of sites then you may need to get familiar with them in order to understand this system. Also you should be familiar with how to make post on forums and how to setup your signature and avatar. For those of you that may think this type of list is of poor quality, then continue reading the paragraphs below. If you know this type of list can be good and you want to get right to the good stuff, I suggest you jump to the paragraph titled general overview.

Misconceptions

I know some of you right now are saying this type of list building has no value as it will consist mostly of freebie hunters. This is a common mistake a lot of people make. They assume that because they acquired a subscription of someone looking for something for nothing, that this is a useless lead. the truth of the matter is these types of leads are as good as any other. I have signed up for lots of free stuff online. So I have to ask, did this make me any less a good prospect to purchase something online? I have purchased many things online, and will continue to do so for some time to come. So if I signup to a mailing list for a freebie, I don’t believe this makes me any less a consumer then I was before I signed up for the free offer.

But I do believe that it will tell the owner of the mailing list something about me, and the types of things I am interested in. There is another mistake I see people make when marketing online, this is finding the product first, and then the market. You have to reverse your methods, if you are doing things in this way. If you find your market first and then your product later, you then know the amount of possible prospects you’re going to have. As well you also are in a position to study the demographics of your prospects before you start to market and optimize your offer. The benefits of just this one aspect would be to numerous to mention in the scope of this report.

Quality

Let me ask you something, have you ever signed up for something free? I think most of us have at one time or another. The item that you signed up for, was it something you were interested in? I know the answer to that question is yes, or you wouldn’t have bothered to signup in the first place. This fact makes you targeted to this type of product. Example: if you signup for a free cell phone antenna, then you must own a cell phone, and you are very likely interested in products related to the cell phone industry, This includes things like ring tones and long distance services, and better cell phones. The simple act of your subscribing to the freebie, supplies the owner of the list with many demographics about you.

There are lots of people list building  that have huge list, with terrible click-through rates in there mailings. This happens because they have not cultivated this list. What I mean by this, is you have to give quality to get quality, In other words emailing your subscribers every other day with offers that they are not interested in is not a good way to do things. Offering your subscribers nothing but wasted space in there inbox, makes people reach for the un-subscribe button.

Trust

No matter how good the quality of your prospective signups may be, you have to build a trust with your prospects and offer them good information and value over time. Because people buy from someone they trust. If you don’t have something that you think might be of value to your subscribers, then silence is your best option. Rather then filling up your subscriber’s inbox with more of what they don’t want. If you are having poor results with your list, here’s a free e-book that can help with splash page design and how to get you on track with maintaining a good, healthy, responsive list.

List building is more then just subscribers

I wanted to talk about list maintenance and building a responsive list, as it pertains to quality of the prospects in relation to you the list owner. So you have to ask yourself are your signups adding quality to your list, or are you. So what I am saying here is it is not the prospects that signup for your list, that make your list good or not. It’s you the list owner; you have a list of raw signups to your list. These subscribers have signed up for your list because of an incentive. You now take this raw list and nurture it, and build it by building your relationship with your subscribers. By giving your subscribers useful information related to the item or service that you gave them, when they signup for your list.

When you’re writing to your subscribers, don’t write to them like you were writing to a large group of people. But rather as if you were writing to one person. You want to cultivate this relationship so your subscribers get the feeling after awhile that they were lucky to ever signup up with your mailing list. I personally have had this happen to me on two different occasions with mailing list I have joined. And if these guys have a product or service that they recommend and I am interested in this product. I don’t hesitate to purchase from them, because I know that what ever service or product from them is going to be good, and I am not going to lose my money or they wouldn’t have recommended it to me. I have bought from these men. And will buy again because I trust them.

Here’s the kicker, I joined both of those list looking for free information. I could go on for hours about how you should funnel your prospects and the do’s and don't s of list building but that goes beyond the scope of this report. So to get on with the methods of building list at super speed, here is what you need to do.This article is a page from on e-book to see part 2 click the link below.
